What are Power Tasks?
A Power Task appears at the top of your DailySumo "to do" list, and represents the most important thing you can do today for your goals.
If you’re familiar with the book, That One Thing by Gary Keller and Jay Papasan, a book on accomplishing big goals, you’re familiar with this concept.
There are four important things to know about your Power Task.
First, you are limited to ONE per day.
Second, you need to set one Power Task before you can add any other Primary or Secondary tasks.
Three, if you fail to accomplish your Power Task, it will rollover to the next day, assuming you have Task Rollover enabled.
And four, because your Power Task is the most important thing you can accomplish for your goals, optimally you want to chain it to a weekly goal.
On this demo interface, I have a Short-Term goal to learn financial literacy. To chain this Power Task to a weekly goal, you can either click the inline menu, or the icon.
Now finishing your POWER TASK gives you bonus points on your Sumo journey.
And puts you one step closer to achieving a weekly goal.
Well done.
